Teen Student Killed in Horrific Pedestrian Crash on Accolti Way [Santa Clara, CA]

Santa Clara, CA (November 23, 2024) On Thursday morning, an 18-year-old Santa Clara University student died after a horrific pedestrian crash on Accolti Way.

According to the Santa Clara Police Department (SCPD), the fatal incident happened around 11:58 a.m. near the Santa Clara University campus.

Reports say that the student died after being struck by a car near the campus on Thursday morning. The Santa Clara Police Department reported that the crash occurred at El Camino Real and Accolti Way.

Responding officers found the student lying on the ground with visible injuries and immediately provided aid. Paramedics transported the victim to a hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

The driver involved remained at the scene and cooperated fully with the investigation. Authorities stated that drugs and alcohol do not appear to have contributed to the collision.
