Teen Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash on Mesa View Drive [Victorville, CA]

Victorville, CA (August 22, 2024) – A Hispanic male between 13 and 15 years old was killed in a hit-and-run crash on Mesa View Drive Tuesday night.

The fatal collision happened at 8:30 p.m. on August 20 near Olivine Road.

Investigators determined that a southbound royal blue color vehicle on Mesa View Road struck the teen and fled the scene. 

Immediately, the teen was airlifted to Loma Linda University Medical Center via Mercy Air helicopter. However, despite life-saving measures, the victim succumbed to his injuries.

The victim was wearing a black jacket, black pants and carrying a bag with chips and drinks.

The authorities closed Mesa View Drive in both directions while they investigated the collision.
