SAN DIEGO, CA (May 29, 2022) – On Friday, a teen sustained injuries in a suspected DUI crash on Quivira Way in San Diego, California.
 
According to authorities, the incident happened on westbound Quivira Way.
 
Reports revealed that a westbound vehicle driving at a high rate of speed failed to negotiate a curb. Then, it veered off across the roadway into the dirt and struck a palm tree. Afterward, the force of the crash pushed the vehicle to roll over multiple times and lanes on its roof.
 
Moreover, officers confirmed that the driver and two of its passenger fled the scene on foot after the crash. Also, firefighters rushed to the scene and extricated a male teen still trapped inside the vehicle. Afterward, paramedics transported the victim to a hospital with major injuries.
