1 Killed and 1 Hospitalized in Vallejo Traffic Accident near Tuolumne Street and North Camino Alto
VALLEJO, CA (August 7, 2022) – Early Friday morning, a teen died in a police chase crash near Tuolumne Street and North Camino Alto.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at around 12:37 a.m. Moreover, it occurred near Tuolumne Street and North Camino Alto.
Reports revealed that authorities pursued a speeding red Chevrolet pickup that failed to yield to authorities. Then, the incident ended when the pickup lost control and crashed. Afterward, the force of the crash ejected the 12-year-old driver of the vehicle into the roadway.
Moreover, responders pronounced the teen dead at the scene. Meanwhile, a 16-year-old female passenger of the vehicle sustained minor injuries in the crash.
Furthermore, the incident remained under investigation.
