YUBA COUNTY, CA (July 21, 2022) – Tuesday night, a teen died in a suspected DUI crash on State Route 99 near Live Oak Boulevard.
 
According to authorities, the incident happened at around 8:00 p.m. Moreover, it occurred on State Route 99 near Live Oak Boulevard.
 
Reports revealed that a southbound 2006 Toyota Solara traveled in the northbound lane of the highway. Then, it collided head-on with a northbound U-Haul.
 
Moreover, responders pronounced the Solara driver, an 18-year-old from Olivehurst, dead at the scene. Meanwhile, two occupants of the U-Haul also sustained injuries in the collision, CHP added.
 
Furthermore, authorities believed that DUI played a role in the crash.
 
Meanwhile, the incident remained under investigation.
