Teen Critically Injured in Crawford Street Collision [Houston, TX]

Houston, TX (June 30, 2024) – A teen was critically injured following a Crawford Street collision Saturday night.

The traffic crash happened around 9:40 p.m. at the intersection with Rusk Street. 

HPD officers said a patrol vehicle was traveling on Rusk Street through the crossing when an 16-year-old crossed in front of him. 

Troopers said the officer did have a green light at the time at that time.

The rescuers rushed the teen to a local hospital with critical injuries but is expected to survive.

HPD officers are investigating the collision.
