Teen Airlifted after Car Crash on Highway 46 in Lost Hills
Lost Hills, CA (August 13, 2020) – Tuesday night, a teen riding a motorcycle sustained significant injuries after crashing into a pickup on Highway 46.
The incident happened on August 11.
According to CHP, the boy was heading southbound on Martin Avenue (just west of Lost Hills Road) on a Honda 185 but failed to stop at a stop sign at Highway 46, directly crashing into the path of a westbound 2006 GMC Sierra.
The impact of the collision critically injured the teen. Medics airlifted him to Kern Medical. CHP said he was not using safety equipment. Identity is still undisclosed.
Meanwhile, the driver identified as Robert Yarbrough, 29, of Kelseyville, Ca.
Police say alcohol or drugs are not factors in this crash.
