2 Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on Mauna Loa Street near Cypress Avenue
HESPERIA, CA (July 28, 2019) – Two people suffered injuries in a two-vehicle crash on Mauna Loa Street, Sunday afternoon.
According to the San Bernardino County Fire, the incident happened at about 2:11 PM. Due to unknown reasons, a black Toyota Prius and a white Nissan Maxima collided near Cypress Avenue.
A medical helicopter airlifted an 18-year-old teen to Loma Linda Medical Center with unspecified injuries. Meanwhile, a ground ambulance transported a second victim to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Hesperia Sheriff’s Station continues to investigate the cause of the collision. Investigators will release additional information to the public once it becomes available.
