Frank Thompson Suspect in Graeagle Mountain Frostee Car Accident
Blairsden, CA (June 01, 2021) – On Sunday, a 17-year-old girl from Carson City was injured while police arrested Frank Thompson of Clio, CA. in a vehicle crash on Graeagle Mountain Frostee Parking Lot.
The accident happened before 2:30 p.m., wherein the girl was pinned between a car and a building in the Graeagle Mountain Frostee parking lot.
Meanwhile, officers said Thompson backed out of his parking spot in the busy parking lot.
However, when he revved his engine while in reserve, the vehicle moved backwards and pinned the teenage girl between his vehicle and the building.
Deputies say the girl was stuck for about 10 seconds before bystanders jumped into action.
Moreover, an off-duty RPD officer opened the car door and put the car in neutral. Then, he pushed it off the girl before running to his vehicle to get a tourniquet.
Right away, the girl was flown to Renown via air ambulance with serious leg injuries. She’s expected to survive.
Later on, officers arrested Thompson for reckless driving causing serious bodily hard.
