The incident happened around 11:06 p.m. at 2894 Ficus Street.
According to police, the man was helping guide a driver as he pulled the trailer out of a parking space. He was standing near or in between two empty, unhitched parking trailers.
The driver accidentally hit one of the trailers, causing the victim to lose his balance and hit his head against the side of the other trailer, police said.

The driver remained on scene and cooperated with police. He was also not a California resident. Police said he was not intoxicated and had a valid commercial drivers license.
