Three Women Fatally Injured in Head-On Collision near El Toro Cutoff Road
LAKE ELSINORE, CA (September 7, 2018) – Three women were killed Friday afternoon following a head-on crash near El Toro Cutoff Road. The victims were later identified as 47-year-old Tatiana Roach of Riverside, 51-year-old Claudia Goldstein of Temecula, and 31-year-old Janee Briscoe of Temecula.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident took place at about 1:20 PM. For unknown reasons, a gold Honda and a silver Nissan sedan collided in the middle of Highway 74.
Roach, the sole occupant of the Honda, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency responders. Goldstein and Briscoe, who were inside the Nissan, were also killed in the crash. No other injuries were reported by officials.
An investigation is ongoing to determine the events that led to the fatal crash and to identify possible contributing factors. No additional information has been disclosed to the public at this time.
