Pedestrian Hit-and-Run Crash at Sierra Drive and 5th Street
MODESTO, CA (September 17, 2019) – A woman was hospitalized following a hit-and-run crash early Tuesday morning in Modesto.
The crash happened 1:30 a.m. at the intersection of Sierra Drive and 5th Street.
Officers responded to the scene and found a female pedestrian lying on the ground. Her injuries indicated that she had been hit by a vehicle and the driver left her on the road.
Paramedics rushed the woman, identified as 41-year-old Tanya Dorton, to a hospital in an unknown condition.
At this time, authorities are still investigating the incident and on the lookout for the suspect.
