Injuries Sustained in Semi-Truck Collision near Paskenta Road
CORNING, CA (January 9, 2019) – A tanker truck overturned in a crash on Rancho Tehama Road, Wednesday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 11:37 AM, near the intersection of Paskenta Road. Based on their report, the truck was carrying at least 3, 000 gallons of propane and it was 80% full at the time of the accident. It overturned and landed on its side, suspecting a possible leak. No other vehicle was involved in the crash.
The paramedics were called for needed medical attention. They confirmed that there were injuries sustained by the occupants of the truck. Fortunately, all conditions were said to be minor.
The authorities closed Rancho Tehama Road while clearing and recovery operations took place in the area. An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the accident.
