40-Year-Old Woman Fatally Struck by Two Vehicles near Vincent View Road
PALMDALE, CA (July 21, 2018) – A woman was struck and killed in a hit-and-run accident on Sierra Highway, late Friday night. The deceased victim was later identified by the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office as 40-year-old Tammi Johnson of Acton.
According to reports, Johnson was walking southbound on Sierra Highway around 11:45 PM, just south of Vincent View Road.
She was struck by a car from behind and later hit again by a 2006 Volvo S40, whose driver was located nearby. The first vehicle was described to be a silver SUV, possibly a Lexus NX, that likely has front and right side damage. It was also possible that the car is missing a side-view mirror and has a broken windshield.
