Tami Palacios and Child Hurt in Yountville Car Accident on Highway 29
YOUNTVILLE, CA (June 10, 2020) – Early Friday morning, Tami Palacios and a juvenile suffered injuries in a crash on Highway 29.
The crash happened at 6:15 a.m. involving a northbound 2002 Dodge Caravan, south of Madison Avenue.
The van steered right into the wall, separating the highway from the Vine Trail. Then, the vehicle drove north and hit a tree.
The CHP revealed that 31-year-old Tami Palacios of Angwin fell asleep while driving a van with five children inside. As a result, the crash hit a masonry wall and a tree on Highway 29.
After the crash, Palacios and an 11-year-old male juvenile sustained major injuries. Responders took them both to Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa.
Meanwhile, four other children in the car, ages 2 to 8, didn’t suffer any injury.
However, responders took them to the hospital for precautionary reasons.

The police confirmed that Tami Palacios and the juvenile both wore seat belts. Also, they do not believe that alcohol and drugs as factors in the crash.
