Talaura Rhyann Frost Dead and 2 Hospitalized After Crash on US 60 in Queen Valley

Queen Valley, AZ (December 24, 2024) – 23-year-old Talaura Rhyann Frost died and two drivers sustained serious injuries in a crash on US 60.

A 23-year-old woman tragically died from injuries sustained in a crash Monday afternoon on US 60 near the East Valley.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety reported that a black SUV, initially stopped on the side of the roadway near milepost 215, turned into the path of an oncoming white pickup truck. 

The truck collided with the SUV, pushing it off the roadway before the truck vaulted into a nearby wash.

Both drivers suffered serious injuries and were transported to the hospital for treatment. A passenger in the pickup truck, identified as Talaura Rhyann Frost of Snowflake, was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Frost’s family shared that her fiancé, who was also injured in the crash, was her partner in planning their wedding, set for next month. 

Frost was 17 weeks pregnant and eagerly looking forward to becoming a mother.

In a heartfelt statement to 12News, Frost’s family expressed their love and admiration for her, describing her excitement for the life she was building. “We, her family and friends, all loved her so much. She was so looking forward to her wedding, where she was going to marry the man she waited so long for, and was also going to be a momma too.”

To support Frost’s grieving family, an online fundraiser has been launched. Additionally, White Mountain Apache Tribal Chairman Kasey Velasquez issued a statement expressing condolences to the families affected by this devastating loss.

Authorities continue to investigate the crash to determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
