Tacoma Woman Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 5 [Lacey, WA]

Lacey, WA (January 24, 2024) – A 41-year-old Tacoma woman was injured following a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 5 Monday afternoon.

The traffic accident unfolded around 1:15 p.m. near Marvin Road.

Investigators said the driver made a lane change and collided with another southbound car that crashed into a third southbound vehicle. 

The third vehicle was sent across the median into northbound traffic where it then collided with two more cars.

The accident report said the driver who caused the accident continued driving south.

Immediately, the rescuers rushed the Tacoma woman to Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia. 

The others who were also involved in the accident, a 27-year-old Tacoma man, a 70-year-old Indiana man, and a 71-year-old Enumclaw man, were not injured in the collision.
