1 Dead and 1 Hurt in Fresno Car Accident on Clinton Avenue

 
FRESNO, CA (December 10, 2019) – A person died while another sustained injuries in a car accident on Clinton Avenue on December 9.
 
According to officers, a male driver traveled west on Clinton Avenue at about 6:45 a.m. However, he drove into the eastbound lane and hit into a parked car while driving at a high speed.
 
The CHP added that responders took the driver to a hospital where he later succumbed to injuries. He didn’t wear a seatbelt at the time of the crash. Meanwhile, his 52-year-old passenger Suzanne Gagain sustained moderate to major injuries and went to Community Regional Medical Center.
 
Officers suspect that the deceased drove under the influence of drugs.
 
The incident blocked the roadways in the area during the investigation.
