Driver Dead in Oso Car Accident with Truck on Highway 530
OSO, WA (June 10, 2019) – A SUV driver died in a collision with a dump truck on Highway 530 on June 6.
Troopers and medics came to the scene at around 9:00 a.m. after reports of a serious crash. The troopers arrived while bystanders administer a CPR on the SUV driver, Heather Axtman of the State Patrol revealed.
Despite medics’ lifesaving efforts, authorities pronounced the driver dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, the truck driver didn’t suffer any injury.
Highway 530 remained closed while crews worked at the scene. The cause of the collision is still under investigation.
