Suspected DWI Crash on Highway 90 Results in Fatality [San Antonio, TX]

San Antonio, TX (June 20, 2023) On Sunday evening, a man was found dead in a suspected DWI crash on Highway 90 westbound.

According to San Antonio police, the deadly auto-pedestrian crash happened at about 10:20 p.m. just before the Cupples Road exit.

Reports say that a vehicle exiting Cupples Road fatally struck a pedestrian, the pedestrian’s body was found in the middle of the main lane of the freeway. Officials say that the male pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, the driver stopped and called the police. Officers arrived and arrested the driver on suspicion of DWI, after being evaluated at the scene.

Officials are investigating the deadly auto-pedestrian crash and have not released additional information at this time.
