2 People Hurt in Fresno Traffic Accident on Highway 99 near 180 Interchange
FRESNO, CA (November 8, 2023) – Monday night, a suspected DUI crash on Highway 99 near 180 Interchange injured two people.
The incident happened on Highway 99 near the 180 interchange.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a suspected DUI driver struck a concrete barrier and collided with another vehicle.
As a result, responders transported the DUI driver with major injuries and the victim in the other vehicle with moderate injuries to a hospital for treatment.
Moreover, the incident closed two northbound lanes of Highway 99, but has long since reopened.
At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
