3 People Hospitalized in Head-on Collision on US Highway 12
Grays Harbor County, WA (August 3, 2023, 2023) On Monday evening, a suspected DUI accident on Highway 12 left 3 people hurt and hospitalized.
According to Washington State Patrol (WSP), the head-on collision happened around 7:30 p.m. on U.S. Highway 12 near Central Park.
Reports say that an eastbound vehicle, driven by a 23-year-old Tacoma man with a 23-year-old female passenger from Hoquiam collided head-on with a 68-year-old Aberdeen woman turning left from U.S. 12 Hill Road.
Officials say that the Tacoma man’s vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed at the time of the crash.
The crash caused injuries to all 3 people, the driver was transported to Tacoma General Hospital, and the female passenger was taken to Grays Harbor Community Hospital in Aberdeen. Meanwhile, the 68-year-old Aberdeen woman was transported to Summit Pacific Medical Center in Elma.
Authorities are investigating the suspected DUI crash and say that the Tacoma man is facing charges of possible vehicular assault charge.
