70-Year-Old Hemet Woman Dies in Morning 2-Car Crash at Soboba Street and Whittier Avenue
HEMET, CA (April 6, 2019) – A woman was killed following a two-car crash Saturday morning in Hemet, CHP officials said.
The fatal crash happened around 10:26 a.m. at the intersection of Soboba Street and Whittier Avenue.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a white Chevrolet Trailblazer and a white Kia sedan collided for unknown reasons. Several emergency personnel responded to the site and found three patients.
One of the patients had to be cut from the wreckage and was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim has been identified as a 70-year-old Susan Earl of Hemet.
Two other people were injured in the crash but declined transportation.
Authorities are still working on the incident and urging witnesses to come forward with information.
