Susan Chavez of Pacifica Dies in Traffic Collision on State Route 35 [Pacifica, CA]

Pacifica, CA (October 4, 2022) On Tuesday morning, 60-year-old Susan Chavez of Pacifica died in a traffic collision on State Route 35.

Reports say that the fatal pedestrian accident at about 3:30 a.m. at Highway 35 and Hickey Boulevard.

Pacifica police found Chavez unconscious and not breathing on the roadway. Officials pronounced the woman dead at the scene.

Moreover, the driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and police say that the driver was not showing signs of impairment.

California Highway Patrol is investigating the pedestrian accident on Hickey Boulevard, CHP closed both directions of Highway 35 between Hickey and King Drive.
