SUNNYVALE, CA – One Injured in 2-Vehicle Crash on Highway 101 near Highway 237

SUV and Cargo Van Collide on Highway 101 in Sunnyvale, Injuries Reported

 
SUNNYVALE, CA (May 6, 2019) – One person was injured following a two-vehicle crash Monday afternoon in Sunnyvale.
 
The crash took place at 2:46 p.m. on southbound Highway 101, just North of Highway 237.
 
CHP officers responded to the scene and located a gray SUV and a white cargo van on the right shoulder. One occupant sustained injuries to the face and hand as a result of the accident.
 
Paramedics were dispatched to the scene and took the injured patient to a hospital. Towing services were also requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
 
There were no official reports stating what caused the crash or how it exactly transpired. Authorities are looking further into the accident.
