Evening Crash Between SUV and Motorcycle in Sunnyvale Sends Rider to Hospital
SUNNYVALE, CA (November 24, 2018) – A motorcyclist was hospitalized following a traffic collision Saturday evening on Highway 101 in Sunnyvale.
The collision happened around 7:50 p.m. along the southbound lanes of the highway, just North of Fair Oaks Avenue off-ramp.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a black SUV and a motorcycle collided for unknown reasons. Paramedics and fire crews responded to the scene and located the rider with unspecified injuries.
The injured rider was then taken to Regional Medical Center in an unknown condition.
An ongoing investigation continues to determine the ultimate cause of the accident and liability.
