Subaru Driver Kevin Wilson Dies in Head-On Crash on Highway 50 [Kansas City, MO]

Driver Arrested in Deadly Vehicle Crash in Johnson County

Kansas City, MO (September 22, 2024) – 65-year-old Kevin Wilson of Lee’s Summit was killed in a head-on crash on Highway 50 Friday.

It was before 12:15 a.m. when the deadly two-vehicle crash happened in Johnson County.

Troopers said a Chevrolet Suburban driven by 45-year-old Peter Goss of Mission Hills, Kansas, traveling in the opposite lanes of traffic.

As a result, the Chevrolet collided head-on with a Subaru Legacy, driven by Kevin Wilson.

Sadly, Wilson was killed while Goss was transported to a hospital.

The authorities arrested Goss with charges of driving while intoxicated, driving the wrong way on a divided highway, and careless and imprudent driving involving an accident.

There is no information if Goss or Wilson were wearing seatbelts when the collision happened.
