Injuries Reported in La Habra Auto Accident on N Palm Street and E La Habra Boulevard

LA HABRA, CA (April 11, 2024) – Wednesday afternoon, 7 students were injured in a startling crash on N Palm Street and E La Habra Boulevard.

The incident happened at about 11:40 p.m. on N Palm Street and E La Habra Boulevard, near Sonora High School.

Reports revealed that the students were standing on the sidewalk, then two cars crashed with each other at the intersection.

Then, the force of the crash led one of the vehicles to jump the curb and strike the group of students, La Habra police revealed.

As a result, the driver also sustained injuries in the crash. Meanwhile, all eight of the victims were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment.

Authorities have confirmed that the incident led to minor injuries only, and there is no suspicion of DUI involvement. Initial investigations suggest that one of the drivers may have run a red light, leading to the collision.

Video footage from the scene captures paramedics attending to several students who are seated on a curb near the crash site, receiving medical treatment.
