Student Injured After Crash on 60th Street and Greenway Road in Phoenix 

Phoenix, AZ (September 12, 2024) – Early Thursday morning, a Horizon High School student sustained injuries in a crash on 60th Street and Greenway Road.

Horizon High School staff reported that at around 6:45 a.m., a student was hit by a car while using a crosswalk near 60th Street and Greenway Road, adjacent to the school. 

Officers arrived on the scene and found the injured teenager, who was quickly transported to the hospital with serious injuries.

School officials confirmed that the injured person is a Horizon High student, but provided limited information as the investigation is still ongoing. 

The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with law enforcement.
