Deadly Pedestrian Crash on Waterloo Road in Stockton
STOCKTON, CA (February 6, 2019) – A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a car early Wednesday morning in Stockton.
The fatal crash happened around 1:15 a.m. at the intersection of Waterloo Road and Report Avenue.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the pedestrian was struck by a blue Jeep Cherokee. The victim suffered major injuries and was taken by paramedics to a hospital.
Despite life-saving efforts, the unidentified victim did not survive and was pronounced dead at 3:04 a.m.
The Jeep was recovered on the right shoulder of the crash site and was towed away for evidence.
It is unknown if charges has been filed and liability has not yet been determined. The incident remains under investigation.
