Steven Michoff Killed in Brutal Head-On Crash on Green Valley Road [Rescue, CA]

1 Dead in Rescue Auto Accident on Green Valley Road

RESCUE, CA (November 17, 2023) – Friday, Steven Michoff died in a brutal head-on crash on Green Valley Road.

The incident happened at 4:49 p.m. on Green Valley Roar.

According to reports, 55-year-old Michoff of Greenwood sustained fatal injuries when his 2015 Toyota drove over the double yellow lines. Then, it collided with a 2004 Mitsubishi driven by Rescue resident 63-year-old Clifton Duvall.

After the crash, responders took Duvall to Sutter Roseville Medical Center for treatment and later released.

Meanwhile, CHP investigators confirmed that Michoff was driving west on Green Valley at an unknown speed. Then, as Duvall passed Oak Lane Drive and headed east at about 35-40 mph, the two vehicles collided.

Also, the authorities haven’t identified if alcohol and/or drugs played a role in the crash.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.

Due to the limited information available, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
