2 Hospitalized in Napa County Motorcycle Accident on Silverado Trail near Yountville Cross Road

 
NAPA COUNTY, CA (November 3, 2021) – Friday afternoon, Steven Bamford and Donna Bamford sustained injuries in a motorcycle crash on Silverado Trail.
 
According to California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at around 2:27 p.m. Moreover, it occurred on Silverado Trail, south of Yountville Cross Road.
 
Reports revealed that a Harley-Davidson Road Glide collided with a 2017 Tesla Model S sedan. The Tesla had pulled out of the shoulder lane and tried to make a U-turn. However, it failed to yield the right of way to the motorcycle.
 
Moreover, responders transported the motorcycle rider, 64-year-old Steven Bamford to Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center with major injuries. Meanwhile, his passenger, 67-year-old Donna Bamford went to Napa Hospital with moderate injuries.
 
Furthermore, officials said that the Tesla driver, 20-year-old Melanie Navarro Torres, sustained no injuries in the crash.
 
Meanwhile, the incident remains under investigation.
