71st Avenue Traffic Accident Delays Traffic

Clark County, WA (July 7, 2023) – On Tuesday, a person was injured and the authorities arrested 60-year-old Stephen Sauro of Ridgefield following a NW 291st Street bicycle crash.

The Clark County Sheriff’s deputies, along with first responders from Clark-Cowlitz Fire Rescue, AMR, and Ridgefield Police, responded at 9:06 a.m. to the crash scene near the intersection with 71st Avenue.

When they arrived, officers located the seriously injured bicyclist while the pickup driver remained at the scene.

Investigators arrested the driver, Sauro, and booked him into the Clark County Jail on suspicion of vehicular assault.
