1 Dead in Napa County Auto Accident on Highway 128 and Lower Chiles Valley Road

NAPA COUNTY, CA (August 31, 2023) – Sunday morning, authorities arrested Stephen Cutter Patterson in a brutal single-vehicle crash on Highway 128.

The accident happened at 5:50 a.m. on Highway 128 and Lower Chiles Valley Road.

According to reports, a GMC Yukon headed east on Highway 128. However, the driver failed to negotiate a left-hand curve until it fell down an embankment and overturned several times. The crash led to the death of a passenger and the arrest of the driver on a felony drunken driving allegation.

Meanwhile, the authorities arrested the 54-year-old driver on suspicion of causing death by driving under the influence. Then, they booked him into the Napa County jail on $100,000 bail.
