Stephanie Morales Dead in Tragic Head-On Crash on Mountain Avenue [Hemet, CA]

1 Person Killed in Hemet Auto Accident on Mountain Avenue

HEMET, CA (September 11, 2024) – Sunday night, Stephanie Morales died in a tragic head-on crash on Mountain Avenue.

The incident happened at around 9:00 p.m. on Mountain Avenue.

According to the Hemet Police Department, a westbound Kia Forte veered into oncoming traffic and collided head-on with an eastbound Hyundai Ioniq.

Moreover, responders rushed the driver of the Kia, identified as 21-year-old Morales of San Jacinto, to a nearby hospital where she was later pronounced dead. Then, paramedics transported the driver and passenger of the Hyundai to a hospital with moderate injuries.

Furthermore, the crash closed Mountain Avenue for six hours but has long since reopened.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
