Fatal Traffic Crash
California’s road accident rate continues to increase, rather than decrease, despite the additional safety features on newer vehicle models.
The increasing crash rate reflects that auto accidents are becoming a public health threat. Unfortunately, they are now a leading cause of death for individuals ages 5-64.
As a matter of fact, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) says that two out of three motorists will be involved in a traffic accident during their life.
