Pedestrian Fatally Struck in Wenatchee
Wenatchee, WA (April 17, 2022) – On Sunday, a pedestrian sustained fatal injuries in a State Route 28 hit-and-run collision.
Officers said a gray 2003 BMW on the freeway was approaching South Tyee Avenue when it struck a pedestrian in the eastbound lane.
The vehicle continued driving and fled the scene.
Unfortunately, the pedestrian succumbed to their injuries at the accident scene.
About 50 minutes later, the authorities located the disabled vehicle on Northwest Cascade Avenue south of State Route 2.
Officers are searching to the involved driver on a charge of felony hit and run.
