Moses Lake, WA (September 06, 2021) – On Monday morning, a 24-year-old Moses Lake man, Jose Juan Cruz, and a 20-year-old male passenger, were injured in a DUI crash on State Route 17.
Officers said Juan Cruz was driving a southbound 2000 Toyota Camry on State Route 17, approaching Stratford road.
Reports said he drove off the road to the right and struck the embankment. As a result, the vehicle rolled over.
Juan Cruz was thrown from his car, which came rested and blocked a southbound lane of the freeway.
The authorities said he was not wearing a seatbelt when the accident happened.
Right away, the rescuers took Juan Cruz and his passenger to Samaritan Hospital in Moses Lake for their injuries. .
