State Route 161 Collision Injures 57-Year-Old Motorcycle Rider [South Hill, WA]

Officers Search for Suspect in Hit-and-Run Crash Near 128th Street East

South Hill, WA (September 22, 2022) – On September 9, a motorcycle rider sustained injuries following a State Route 161 collision.

The traffic collision happened at about 5:55 p.m. near 128th Street East.

According to reports, the motorcycle was northbound while a pickup truck was southbound at the same time. The truck made a left turn, crossed the double-yellow line, and cut in front of the motorcyclist.

The motorcyclist tried to avoid a collision and swerved. As a result, the rider slid to the ground and sustained serious injuries.

The truck driver, on the other hand, drove in an unknown direction.

There are no details on the truck’s color, make or model, according to a news release.
