Burnet County, TX (March 3, 2023) – On Sunday morning, a State Highway 71 head-on crash killed 3 people and injured 4 others.

Authorities say that the fatal collision happened near East Trail Road in Burnet County around 3 a.m.

Reports say that a westbound 2020 Ford F-350 with four occupants collided head-on with an eastbound 2013 Hyundai with three occupants.

The collision killed all occupants of the Hyundai. Meanwhile, paramedics transported all 4 occupants of the Ford to Baylor Scott & White in Marble Falls and St. David’s South in Austin.

DPS is investigating the fatal collision and has not released additional information at this time.
