Homeless Man Assisted in Santa Clarita Auto Accident on Via Princessa and Whites Canyon Road
SANTA CLARITA, CA (September 16, 2024) – Sunday morning, a startling vehicle crash on Via Princessa and Whites Canyon Road ejected a driver.
The crash happened at around 12:25 a.m. on Via Princessa and Whites Canyon Road when a white sedan veered off the road. Then, broke through a guardrail before going 100 feet off the end of Via Princessa, landing on an embankment.
Two individuals were rescued after a vehicle veered off a Santa Clarita road, ejecting the driver, who was pinned beneath the car. Two sheriff’s deputies, along with the passenger and a nearby homeless man, managed to lift the vehicle off the driver, according to one of the deputies on the scene.
Firefighters and paramedics helped bring both individuals to safety, with the driver being lifted using a litter basket. The driver was then transported to a trauma center, though their condition remains unknown.
At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
