2 People Hurt in Santa Clarita Traffic Accident on Wiley Canyon Road and Lyons Avenue

SANTA CLARITA, CA (September 28, 2023) – Tuesday night, a startling two-vehicle crash on Wiley Canyon Road and Lyons Avenue injured two people.

Reports revealed that the incident happened at around 6:10 p.m. at the intersection of Wiley Canyon Road and Lyons Avenue.

According to Bernard Peters of the Los Angeles County Fire Department, a Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station’s patrol vehicle collided with another vehicle for still unknown reasons.

Moreover, responders transported a deputy with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station and an occupant of the other vehicle to a hospital with minor injuries.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station continued to investigate the crash.
