Lanes Blocked in Houston Auto Accident on Stassen Street and McLean Street
HOUSTON, TX (August 20, 2024) – Monday night, a startling two-vehicle crash on Stassen Street and McLean Street led to injuries.
Reports said that the incident happened at around 11:00 p.m. at the intersection of Stassen Street and McLean Street.
According to the Houston Police Department, a vehicle ran a stop sign and collided with a Houston Police Department cruiser that was responding to a shotspotter call with lights and sirens. Also, a third vehicle was involved in the collision.
Responders transported two officers to a hospital with minor injuries. Also, authorities said that a woman and 2 young children from the third vehicle sustained minor bumps and bruises in the incident.
At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
