1 Person Hospitalized in Fresno Auto Accident on North Avenue and Dickenson Avenue
FRESNO, CA (July 10, 2024) – Tuesday morning, a startling two-vehicle crash on North Avenue and Dickenson Avenue injured one person.
The incident happened at around 6:30 a.m. at the intersection of North Avenue and Dickenson Avenue.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a northbound semi-truck ran a stop sign and struck a grey Nissan. Then, the force of the crash pushed the Nissan to crash into a canal, submerging the vehicle and its driver.
Moreover, the driver of the semi extricated the trapped driver from the submerged vehicle. Then, paramedics transported the male driver of the Nissan to a hospital with major injuries.
Furthermore, authorities do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in the incident.
