PHOENIX, AZ (December 18, 2023) – Sunday morning, a startling two-vehicle crash on Interstate 17 and Durango Street injured one person.

The incident happened at around 1:30 a.m. on Interstate 17 and Durango Street.

According to the Phoenix Police, an eastbound car collided with into the trailer of a fuel tanker that was making a left turn onto Durango.

Moreover, responders rushed the driver of the car to a hospital with critical injuries.

Furthermore, authorities confirmed that the driver of the fuel tanker showed no signs of intoxication.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
