56-Year-Old Man Dead in San Antonio Auto Accident on Interstate 10 near FM 1518
SAN ANTONIO, TX (July 20, 2023) – Tuesday night, a startling two-vehicle crash on Interstate 10 near FM 1518 killed 1 person.
The incident happened at around 1:50 p.m. in the 12500 block of Interstate 10 East, between Loop 1604 and FM 1518.
According to the San Antonio Police Department, a 2007 Chevrolet Avalanche swerved to avoid a slow-moving vehicle and struck a man who was on the side of the roadway while his vehicle getting towed.
Moreover, responders rushed the 56-year-old victim to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Furthermore, the vehicle driver remained at the scene to cooperate with the authorities.
At this time, the circumstances involved in the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
