2 People Hurt in Santa Barbara Auto Accident on Highway 101 near Milpas Street
SANTA BARBARA, CA (January 17, 2024) – Tuesday morning, a startling two-vehicle crash on Highway 101 near Milpas Street injured two people.
The incident happened at around 11:36 a.m. on Highway 101, north of Milpas Street.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a large dog running on Highway 101 caused two vehicles to collide for still unknown reasons.
Moreover, officers confirmed that two people sustained minor injuries in the crash and were not transported.
Furthermore, the Santa Barbara Police Department Animal Control managed to capture the female shepherd mix in the 1200 block of Cacique Street and was not injured.
At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
