LOS ANGELES, CA (June 13, 2024) – Wednesday morning, a startling two-vehicle crash on 14 Freeway near Golden Valley Road injured one person.

The incident happened at around 9:05 a.m. on 14 Freeway near Golden Valley Road.

According to reports, a Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) motorcycle officer and a blue GMC Sierra pickup side-swiped each other for still unknown reasons.

California Highway Patrol Newhall Area Office spokesperson Officer Josh Greengard confirmed that the motorcycle officer was transported to Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital with minor injuries.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
