RIO VISTA, CA (May 15, 2023) – Sunday, a startling traffic crash on Highway 160 and Highway 12 injured 1 person.

The incident happened on Highway 160 just south of Highway 12 near the border between Solano and Sacramento counties.

According to reports, a helicopter airlifted one person to a trauma center.

Meanwhile, fire crews freed the driver from the vehicle and transported him to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Also, four other parties were evaluated at the scene but were also released.

The incident also shut down the highway which stalled traffic in the area.
