1 Person Injured in El Paso Auto Accident on Gateway East and Lee Trevino Drive
EL PASO, TX (July 11, 2024) – Wednesday morning, an El Paso Police Department vehicle was involved in a startling traffic crash on Gateway East.
The incident occurred at 2:00 a.m. on Gateway East at Lee Trevino Drive. After the crash, one person was transported to the hospital with minor injuries, according to an El Paso Fire Department dispatcher.
The Texas Department of Transportation announced that all lanes on Gateway East at Lee Trevino and both northbound and southbound lanes of Lee Trevino were closed due to a crash.
Police have not yet disclosed the cause of the crash or if there were any additional injuries. Meanwhile, the affected lanes were reopened at 8 a.m.
